Sydney Wade - Is the daughter of George and Lucy Wade, younger sister of Deacon Wade. The family was controlling
interest in Wade Enterprises, a worldwide chain of hotels. But Sydney doens't have much interest in that. Ever
since she got behind the wheel of a car at 11 years old Syd knew she wanted to be a race car driver. There was a time
when she was in high school that she joined a band with some of her friends but driving had always been her passion.
When we begin our story Syd is at the end of her rookie year on the NASCAR circuit.
Xandy Mortenson - Actually Lady Alexandra Mortenson to be exact. She is the next in line for the Scottish Throne
and Sydney's cousin. Before we begin the story Xandy had been diagnosted with cancer. Her father Viggo had just
begun filming the Lord of the Rings Trilogy when she was diagnosed and as a show of support all the cast underwent testing
to see if they could donate the bone marrow that she need. Well her match was Orlando and when he came into the hospital
to get the prodecure done they fell in love. When we begin the story Xandy had went to New Zealand to supposedly visit
with her dad. Her brother Zayne who is in the finally stages of wedding planning is concerned about her.
