The night of the show Jessica was ready like an hour before she had to be cause she was so excited. She was sitting on Loren's bed watching her get ready.

Loren - "So who's all going to be there again?"

Jess - "Um, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, NKOTB, Madonna, and Aerosmith for sure. I'm not sure who elses.

Loren - "Oh, not really my kind of crowd."

Jess - "I know but aren't you excited."

Loren - "Yes Jessica I'm excited. Shit, do you have any eye liner mine just broke."

Jess - "Yeah. I'll go get it." The phone rings while she's out of the room.

Loren - "Jess, it's your Uncle Chris." Jess picks up.

Jess - "Hey Uncle Chris what's up?"

Chris - "Not much the car's on the way. It'll probably be there in about 20 minutes."

Jess - "Okay thanks." She hangs up. "Loren the car will be here in 20 minutes."

Loren - "Okay, shit have you seen my other boot." While she finishes getting ready Jess goes on a mad boot hunt.

By the time they get to the show the talent had already started to arrive. They wandered their way around interviews and finally made it inside. Once in they spotted Chris up on a balcony interviewing Donnie Wahlberg and Jordan Knight. Making their way up there was easy so then they waited until he finished.

Chris - "Okay thanks guys." He turns around and sees them. "Hey I thought you two where never going to get here. Did you have any trouble getting in."

Loren - "No the passes where fine." She looks over his shoulder cause they are still standing there.

Chris - "Oh Donnie, Jordan this is my niece Jessica and my sister in law Loren."

Loren - "Nice to meet you."

Donnie - "She's not your kid is she?"

Loren - "Not unless I had her when I was three." Just then Jon comes over.

Jon - "Hey guys we got to go get ready."

Donnie - "Okay see you later." They leave and both Chris and Loren turn to look at Jess.

Chris - "What is wrong with you?"

Jess - "Nothing."

Loren - "You had pictures of them all over your walls, probably still would but I won't let you."

Jess - "I just didn't have anything to say. Lets go find our seats."

Chris - "okay I'll show you."

They've got great seats. Fourth row back in the center, so people surround them. He leaves them there and goes back stage. People start filling in but the seats next to the girls are still not taken.

Jess - "Looks like our neighbors are late?"

Loren - "Some people can just never be on time."

At about five minutes to show time some people come and sit down. The lights dim and Arsenio Hall comes out and does his thing. Then he introduces NKOTB, they do like this medley of stuff and then it goes to commercial. During which the people next to them get up and leave.

Jess - "Now where are they going?"

Loren looks up from her program, "Oh they must be fillers look Matt LeBlanc and Jennifer Aniston are getting up and they are taking their places."

Jess - "Oh so I wonder who is really sitting next to us?" Right before going back on air Jess finds out as Donnie sits down next to her.

Donnie - "Hey it's the quiet one."

Jess - "Hi."

Donnie - "You look very nice."

Jess - "Thanks."

Donnie - "So Chris is your uncle."

Jess - "yeah." Donnie looks over at Loren.

Donnie - "She can speak more then one word at a time right."

Loren - "Yeah she's just a little shy that's all."

Donnie - "Hey no reason to be nervous. We're going to be stuck sitting next to each other the whole night might as well be friendly. Okay."

Jess - "Okay." She fidgets with the hem of her dress. "I thought your performance was very good."

Donnie - "Thanks. We just kinda threw it together a couple days ago."

Jess - "Well you couldn't tell. Are you up for any awards?"

Donnie - "Yeah but we're not going to win."

Jess - "Why do you say that?"

Donnie - "Well we're only up for two. Best group and song of the year. Pearl Jams in both of them, we're probably going to lose to them."

Jess - "Yeah its just the way that music seems to be going right now."

Donnie - "You're a lot like your uncle aren't you.

Jess - "What do you mean?"

Donnie - "Honest you give both barrels even if it isn't nice."

Jess - "You make me sound mean. I was just agreeing with you."

Donnie - "I know I'm sorry."

Jess - "Let's not worry about it and watch the show okay."

Donnie - "Alright."

Well Donnie was right they didn't win anything. But him and Jess talked the whole show and when it came time to leave he invited her and Loren to an after party with them. Which of course was excepted.
