The two months that Donnie was overseas was unbearable. Jess talked to him like every other day and just really lost herself in her studies when she felt like she was missing him too much. Then finally the day he was coming home was today. She was sitting on the couch ready to go at 8 in the morning even though his flight didn't get in until 3 that afternoon. By 10 she was making Loren crazy.

Loren - "Why don't you go see a movie to pass the time."

Jess - "Will you go with me?"

Loren - "Sure I have nothing better to do."

Jess - "Lets see Philadelphia starts at 11:30 or Cliffhanger at 12:15."

Loren - "Philadelphia."

Jess - "Cool lets go."

Loren - "Okay. I hope Greg calls while I'm gone."

Jess - "I'm sure he will. He seems a little better then the rest."

Loren - "Yeah I'm actually thinking about taking him home
to met my mom and dad."

Jess - "So he knows your dad is the Sean Connery."

Loren - "Yeah and he didn't flip or get all weird on me."

Jess - "Well maybe he is a keeper."

Loren - "Yeah, maybe."

The movie was great by the end she couldn't wait to get to the airport and hug Donnie and tell him how much she loved him. However when they walked out of the theater she wanted to cry. Traffic was awful.

Jess - "Oh no look at this mess. I'm never going to make it."

Loren - "You've got over an hour."

Jess - "It's going to take me that long to get to the tunnel." A guy that works with Loren at the club sees them and comes over.

Danny - "Hey Loren whatcha doing?"

Loren - "Not much. Jess is a little upset cause she has to met her boyfriend at the airport and traffic is awful."

Danny - "I can give you a ride."

Jess - "On what your time machine thats the only way I'm getting there before three."

Danny - "No we can take my bike."

Loren - "You're riding your motorcycle in November?"

Danny - "Yeah its the easiest way to get through traffic."

Jess - "lets go."

Loren - "Jessica! Your mom will kill me!"

Jess - "Then don't tell her."

Loren - "Please be careful with her Danny."

Danny - "I will."

The whole way there she had her eyes closed. He gets Jess there in record time. Donnie was off the plane greeting his mom and Bobbo when she came racing up. She tripped over someone's bag and Donnie stopped her from falling on her face by catching her.

Jess - "Hey."

Donnie - "I was worried when I got off the plane I thought maybe you changed your mind."

Jess - "No, if you knew what I went through to get here, butwe won't get in to that now."

Donnie - "okay, let me introduce you. This is my mom Alma Conroy and my brother Bobbo. And this is my girlfriend Jessica." She was curious were her and Donnie stood. Yeah, they talked on the phone every day but had only really spent like 20 hours together. But if he's introducing Jess to his family as his girlfriend well I guess that answered that now didn't it.

Jess - "Nice to meet you."

Alma - "Hello, well let's go get your bags."

Donnie - "Actually they're just going to drop them at the hotel for me."

Alma - "Hotel you're not coming home?"

Bobbo - "Ma, the guy just got back from England he wants to spend some time with his girl."

Alma - "Well I figured that Robert but I thought maybe she would come up with him."

Donnie - "She's got school I can't ask her to leave during her finals." Alma looks at Jess, who is red from embarassment.

Alma - "College I hope."

Jess - "Yes mam."

Alma - "okay come on. Let's go get something to eat Bobbo's been belly aching the whole way here how hungry he is."

She takes Jess by the arm and they start towards the car.

Bobbo - "She's pretty cute. How old is she?"

Donnie - "she's 18. Everything's perfectly legal."

Bobbo - "Well let's not let mom get too far ahead of us. She did take your girl." They catch up in no time, what with their long legs and everything. Alma's just chatting away about nothing really, then she starts with the questions.

Alma - "I hope you don't mind me asking but how did you meet Donnie."

Jess - "My uncle. He works at MTV, and he gave my Aunt and I his tickets to the VMA's and I was sitting next to Donnie."

Alma - "Oh who's your uncle?"

Jess - "Chris Connelly."

Alma - "Oh so your last name's Connelly."

Jess - "No. Actually it's Connery."

Alma - "So where do you boys want to eat."

Donnie - "There is a coffee shop across from the hotel why don't we just eat there."

Bobbo - "Sounds good to me." So they go get in the car and head in town. The conversation is kept light in the car. Donnie tells them about his trip. They are still doing really well over in Europe, but then it's just a bigger Pop market. They park in the garage at the hotel.

Donnie - "Why don't you guys go across the street awhile I'm going to see if I have any messages."

Alma - "Okay come on Jessica." Jess hesitantly says okay and kisses Donnie on the cheek. They stand in the crowd waiting to cross the street. Bobbo tugs on Jess's arm and they step behind a couple people.

Bobbo - "Don't worry she's just trying to feel you out, she does it to all our girlfriends. You're doing fine, she likes you." She smiles up at him.

Jess - "thanks Bobbo."

Bobbo - "You and Donnie really have a good thing going don't ya."

Jess - "I'd like to think so."

Alma - "Are you two about done back there the light's green."

Bobbo - "We're busted." They go and get a table. They ordered some drinks and waited for Donnie, during which Alma tells Jess stories about Donnie and Bobbo growing up. He finally got there about 20 minutes later.

Donnie - "Sorry about that I had to call Johnny."

Alma - "Is something wrong?"

Donnie - "no ma were going to have a meeting after the holidays."

Alma - "About what?"

Donnie - "Mom don't worry about it okay. Everything's fine." Jess knows why Alma's worry she can tell by her face. She's afraid the group's breaking up. To her it means Donnie's out of a job, she doesn't know that he's been talking to an agent about acting. "Now where's that waitress I'm hungry."

Alma - "We already ordered for you it should be here any minute." Some one needs to change the subject.

Jess - "So are you two going to stay down over night? It's
kinda late to head up to Boston isn't it."

Alma - "I don't know what do you want to do Bob."

Bobbo - "We can stay if you want."

Jess - "good now I know you two have probably been to New York before so you've seen all the sights but I bet you haven't been back stage at a Broadway musical." Alma perks up a little.

Alma - "No. Can't say that I have." the food gets there.

Jess - "Do you want to go see Annie get your gun."

Alma - "Tonight."

Jess - "Yeah. I've got a friend that works the stage. He can get us in."

Alma - "I don't have anything to wear."

Jess - "We'll hit Maces quick."

Donnie - "Honey I don't know if I'm up to go out tonight."

Jess - "That's okay your mom and I will go."

Bobbo - "What about me?"

Alma - "You hate musicals!"

Bobbo - "So that doesn't mean I want to be stuck with him all night."

Jess - "I know of a club you might like."

Donnie - "No."

Jess - "Loren is working there now. It seems like his kind of crowd. If he goes there and says he knows her he'll be fine nothing will happen to him."

Bobbo - "Where?"

Jess - "Club Hell."

Bobbo - "Sounds cool. where is it?" Jess gives him the address and tells him to take a cab. "Is what I'm wearing okay?"

Jess - "Oh yeah its fine. Just go up to the bar and ask for Danny or Loren and tell them you know me."

Donnie - "And don't call me for bail."

Jess - "Alma it's not that bad really."

Alma - "I trust you dear. After we eat we'll go get a room, then run to Macys."

Jess - "okay." They eat and go back to the hotel. Jess goes upstairs with Donnie while Alma and Bobbo get a room. As soon as he shuts the door he starts kissing her.

Donnie - "Do you have to go out tonight."

Jess - "I've made plans with your mom. I don't want to cancel it would disappoint her."

Donnie - "She already likes you you don't have to do this."

Jess - "I want to. I'll be back later."

Donnie - "I'll be asleep."

Jess - "I'll wake you up."

Donnie - "Okay. here's the key?"

Jess - "okay. We've got a couple minutes while they get settled."

They don't really do anything but kiss cause anything else would be to involved and Jess woouldn't want to leave.
Alma knocks and they leave. Shopping at Macys with her was a blast she had every single sales girl waiting on her. Jess opened up to her more and told her about her family. Even should her a picture, that's when she told her she had the hots for her Grandpa. Which cause a bit of a weird moment. The musical was great and they both loved it. When they got back to the hotel they had a drink before going to bed. Jess tried to wake Donnie up but it was no good. So she just crawled in next to him and feel asleep.
